It's a dirge and many Hearts fans are not greatly enamoured with it either and no wonder! Did Hector Nicol only compose funeral themes lol!

Aye, I have seen it......the only thing is that the song is incredibly hard to scan and sing without the proclaimers in the background so will never be heard as they are unlikely to play the original at Tynecastle. ( it is quite well done but why would you bother.....unless you are a hibby that has got on kickback?)

Great originality eh and you are right - they'd never play Sunshine on Leith at Tynecastle anyway! Hearts fans are normally too busy trying to 'drown out' the song to bother about singing it as we've observed often enough in past Derby matches.
Reflecting back to the match itself, I'm hoping 1. Gollum has a decent game and doesn't succumb to any controversial 'diving' shenanigans or potential red card 'game changing' incidents 2. Cathro plays his trusty lieutenant, Hughes, in the middle of their defence as this guy has no pace and can definitely be caught out by the appropriate pacy Hibs forward in a one touch/two touch movement Re Hibs, my main concern is the presence of Fontaine who is not that impressive in our defence! I personally wouldn't start Boyly - leave him as an impact sub! I'd field Keatings mainly because he seems to play well at Tynecastle as does Jason. They have luckily drawn home advantage, have a chance of winning this cup tie and their manager is playing down the lack of Derby experience amongst this tranche of players that Levein has suddenly brought in during the Jan transfer period for obvious reasons. We'll see if that is the case for a fixture in which I don't think Hibs have lost for 7 or 8 Derby matches (?) and our cup record is pretty good as well. IMO if Hibs 'show up', particularly in the mid and forward areas, they will be difficult to beat! C'mon Hibs! GGTTH

Lennon and holt both amping up the mind games with cathro, who doesn't seem the strongest of guys.
Lennons record in cups is actually poor as a manager, but he knows "every trick in the book".
Re Cathro's meek persona, did you watch his recent bbc interview after that controversial M'well match that his team won at Fir Park? There was nothing there! No enthusiasm, natural positivity or optimism - nowt. There was this 'deathly silence' at the end of the interview when I think the interviewer expected Cathro to carry on with some additional comments but that was it - finished! It just confirms what many critical footie experts had been saying re his limited ability to communicate in dealing comfortably with media, players etc and he certainly does not look like a 'natural' in that respect! The jury is definitely 'out' re this common criticism.

Who cares if he's poor at interviews?? it's about getting results On the park something he's done the last two games 7 for 1 against,Carry on the slavering Ian.

Agreed Fred, I'd rather a manager who got his players to do the talking on the pitch. Being articulate in front of the cameras does not make a good manager. There have been many managers that "talked a good game" but were cr*p.
