Missed Hogg today. No bite in midfield. Lewis wasn't able to play his usual game and Billing just strolled through.

They were better than us. Like we've been saying all along, we're not good enough to go up.

Definitely better and more clinical, hell the money they spend on bootlaces is bigger than our transfer fees. Still think we have a good shout at a playoff place. Doubt we'll go far though unless it's Coventry or Luton first up.

Boiler Repair Man had us sussed from the start. We like to play out from the back and all they had to do was to press high and force us into mistakes. Billing intercepted a Turton pass early on and the ball dropped for Solanke, who shot straight at Nicholls.

And that set the tone. We didn't learn. They pressed better than us and when we did press high, they just passed right through us and the ball was in the net.

The second goal was a calamity. I haven't seen the playback of it but it looked like two players left it for each other and the Bournemouth lad shot past a stranded Nicholls.

The third, excellent play from Billing, a neat back flick. 3-0.

Why were people booing Billing? Why did Town fans not like him? It was obvious his problem was with Siewert and not the club. The way some fans reacted to him was strange. But that's football for you. Personally, I'm glad to see him playing so well. He's one of ours. Once a Terrier, always a Terrier.

So what did Carlos get wrong today? He said afterwards that they were better than us and it's up to him to make us better. Well, I think they are just one of those teams that we just can't play against. One of those bogey teams. The fact that Peterborough and Reading have taken points off them recently shows that they aren't all that good. But they just seem to be able to play better against us.

We managed to work Fulham out eventually. Maybe one day, we will work Bournemouth out.

Aye. Just in the nick of time. So we have a mini season starting on the 1st of April.

We are still in a false position, in my opinion, because we still don't look good enough. But when you look at the other contenders, neither does anybody else. Look at QPR losing at home to Peterborough. If we can get into the Play Offs, anything can happen.

So what do people who went give the players as a rating?

Well I'd say Ward was the best, again. He never stopped running, was willing to shoot on sight, kept on pressing.

Nicholls kept the score down, again.

Lees probably had his worst game for us and was hauled off at half time. Injured? Don't know.

Turton, Pearson, Toffolo, Colwill all given the run around. Toffs had a particularly poor day, by his own standards.

Sinani and Holmes were passengers. Russell and O'Brien struggled to make a mark on the game and Sorba was double manned every time he got near the ball.

Koroma looked bright when he came on, but Tino didn't do much. He's got some more minutes into his legs though, as the media men say. Maybe give him a start at Hull, see what he can do. Give Sorba and Sinani, who will be away internationalling, a break and sit them on the bench for that one. Then it's another long wait for the Luton game. Get everybody fit and raring to go for what could be the biggest game of the season.

Who would've thunk that at the start of the season? Town v Luton biggest game of the season? What, a relegation 6 pointer?

No, a massive Play Off decider.

Gi' ovver! Tongue
