I wonder if that was what he wanted Wilkes to do more of, but to start with his form wasn't great and then injuries played a part in stopping him getting any form.

DM played him either as a striker or a attacking midfielder, not quite sure what is best position is.

We've sorely lacked a player like Nemane in my opinion.
One like that on either side and you're almost unstoppable, just need a competent striker in front of him to convert.

I'm genuinely surprised the kid is playing non-league on this showing.

We haven't played at home in the POs yet, what makes you think we won't make home advantage work for us next week? We have lost only once at home all season and have scored 3 or more goals on 9 occasions, so you never know!!
