The FA Cup trail stays in Bristol for the fourth round and along with visitors from East London in the guise of three time Cup winners West Ham United there will be the BBC cameras for the live Sunday afternoon match.
They may have won it three times, but it's 35 years since a Trevor Brooking headed goal beat Arsenal. City have only made it to the final once and that was way back in 1909 when they lost to Manchester United.
This is League One verses the Premier League, but following yesterday's shocks though with Bradford City winning at Chelsea and Middlesbrough winning at Manchester City, the Robins would have to win handsomely for this even to register as a shock on this weekend when the romance of the FA Cup has well and truly been resurrected.

City have injury doubts over forwards Aaron Wilbraham and Kieran Agard and defender James Tavernier is cup-tied after playing for Wigan in the previous round.

West Ham defender James Collins is expected to miss out with a back problem. Striker Diafra Sakho also has a back injury and remains sidelined.

Bristol City squad: Frank Fielding, Mark Little, Derrick Williams, Aden Flint, Karleigh Osborne, Korey Smith, Wade Elliott ©, Matt Smith, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Scott Wagstaff, Dave Richards, Bobby Reid, Luke Freeman, Jordan Wynter, Greg Cunningham, Aaron Wilbraham, Kieran Agard, Marlon Pack, Luke Aylin, Joe Bryan, George Saville, James Tavernier.

Sakho wins it for the Hammers.

Ft Bristol City 0-1 West Ham

Not bad for a lad who was supposed to be out with a back injury.

So the journey finally reaches a team that could actually go all the way this year and win it!!

Pathetic turn out of the weekend award goes to Blackburn. Couldn't muster 6000 for a home match. The Chickens took more to Chelski.

So our next round will be West Bromwich Albion v West Ham United. Or will it?
FIFA are objecting to the boy Sakho, who scored the goal to knock out Brizzle City, playing in that match when he was allegedly injured and not representing his country at the Africa Cup.

So, if West Ham are kicked out, do Bristol get reinstated or do the Baggies get a bye?

Good question. In all fairness, Bristol City should get to play us.

Or if earlier precedence is applied the WHU v Bristol City game could be replayed like MK Dons v Chezzie!!

I think FIFA want them expelled, so that would probably mean Bristol back in. But they will have to make their minds up soon.
