Yes I agree with that, the reality of trident and the submarine base is that there are only a few areas where it could go irrespective of population or anything. I think Portsmouth has been mentioned in the past. It really down't matter where it is though because if it ever gets targeted by a nuclear weapon then we are all in trouble, not just those who live near it. Besides in the event of a nuclear strike I am sure London would be high on the list anyway, possibly above Faslane to start with!!
