There is no doubting Joey Barton's ability, but it is his character that gives rise to doubts. More than once has Mark Warburton said he will only sign players that fit into the dressing room and add value to the squad and Club. Any disruptive and/or prima donna characters are not wanted and will not be recruited.

Spot on Larry. Very talented player ability wise but total shitty character as has been proven at his many clubs. Also in the twilight of his career, so is he looking for the easy cash from the Rangers?. Actually shown to be a bit of a thug on the park, so may incur the wrath of Scotland's men in black.
