Cape town has long been south africa's strong hold, they always seem to play well, or more to the point other teams dont play well there.
there should be a lot of england supporters there for the test, it is a great place to go for cricket and has everything a supporter would like when visiting a country.
south africa are set to make a couple of changes, dale steyn is ruled out with kagiso rabada taking his place. rabada is young fast bowler who will cause england problems with his pace. the other year he was playing in the under 19 world cup and clocking mid 80's, now he is bowling quicker and also with more maturity as he was given the last over in some of the odi's when south africa played india. he's still relatively new to the test arena so it would be an idea to get on top of him from the off and not let him settle and gain confidence.
another change is quinton de kock set to take the gloves, mainly due to abdv not really wanting that burden any more. qdk scored a 100 in the last 4 day state game and will be in line to replace one of bavuma, jp duminey or maybe even faf du plessis.
a final change may come in the form of hardus viljoen who will replace kyle abbott should abbott fail a fitness test. viljoen was clocked bowling over 150kph during the ram slam and appears to be a combative bowler. however, he did play for south africa a against england at the start of the tour and england may already know how to play him.
england on the other hand look set to make just the one change with james anderson replacing chris woakes. england have 17 tests apparently this year and anderson could well be approaching the 500 wicket club providing his fitness holds up. one thing worth noting is that a lot of these are on the subcontinent once again with england facing bangladesh and india next winter.
