I think some of the points he makes are valid but I do think these days you have to rotate players when games come thick and fast. The game today is much faster than it used to be and we play a pressing game, particularly in midfield so we are going to see some tired legs every so often. He says keep the same side and then change at half time, well that is not different to what we did except we changed it at half time to become stronger rather than his way round.
We didn't lose that game though because of the changes, we lost it by a few players not concentrating in the first 45 seconds!! Sure we looked much better once FF came on but both CC and FF agreed this was the correct policy. I would have preferred to see Nuhiu on for the first 45 mins and then bring Joao on with FF at HT to put some pace and pressure on their defence.
