Race recap:
Mexico returned to the F1 calendar for the first time since 1992. It is one of my favourite tracks, although they have ruined the challenge of the final corner Peraltada. The atmosphere was great with the fans packing out the huge grandstands and cheering on local hero Sergio Perez. The newly surfaced track was very slippy which helped add to the excitement.
No one could challenge Mercedes, with Rosberg taking his fourth win of the season ahead of champion Hamilton.
Ferrari had a terrible race: Vettel collided with Ricciardo at the first corner forcing Vettel to pit with a puncture and then later he crashed out by himself. Raikkonen's race ended after a collision with Bottas (possibly in retaliation to their coming together in Russia).
Bottas was undamaged in the collision and came home third for Williams:
The Red Bulls of Kvyat and Ricciardo were fourth and fifth respectively, and Massa sixth for Williams.
The Force Indias of Hulkenburg and Perez were next, with Perez doing well to hold on to eighth on old tyres.
The final points paying positions went to Verstappen in the Toro Rosso in ninth and Grosjean for Lotus in tenth.
