The only weak spot in the Jays squad is the closer. Gibbons uses Osuna as the closer with Cecil as the set up guy. I'd switch them around as Cecil is a much better pitcher imo than Osuna, who is unreliable.
Three strong starting pitchers: Price, Estrada, Stroman.
In a 4 man rotation I'd go with knuckleballer R.A. Dickey over Buehrle for the same reason that some folk like to keep Nuhiu in the Owl's side: give the opposition something to think about.
Decent bullpen.
Heart of the order: Donaldson, Encarcion, Bautista, all on 40 or 35+ h. runs.
Even the catcher Russell Martin has a decent era.
What pitcher would want to face a lineup like that?
Btw, attendance in recent home games: sell out crowds of 47K +
Don't you look forward to the day when the Owls will have attendances like that? They used to. In the good old days.

See your point but I think the team with the overall best record gets home field advantage in a playoff series.

The likely winners of that will be the Yankees and personally I would rather play the Texans in the Division series. Last season we saw the two teams that won the play-in games go on to be in the World Series, momentum and all that adrenaline carries some teams a long way!!
