Problem with Anichebe is that even when he is fit, he's insanely inconsistent. Sometimes when he's on the pitch you can really see why we bought him - he does what Marc-Antoine Fortune used to, but better, and defences can't handle him - but in other games, we may as well field a prize-winning marrow in his place for all he contributes. I think it was in the second half on Astle Day when a Leicester defender slipped on the ball, and Anichebe - rather than being on his toes, putting pressure on, ready to punish the mistake - was stood on his heels ten yards away, and missed what would have been a solid-gold chance to put the game to bed. Frustrating, and after two years, there's really no sign of him ever changing.
