Couldve gone to a few good places(EPL or Italy- if reports were to be believed) It should definitely be there in the future for him but maybe looking at others not all that glitters is gold south of the border.
Shows great ambition from Aberdeen and dare I say makes the SPL that tiny bit stronger keeping such a good young player a bit longer

Aberdeen midfielder Ryan Jack has extended his Pittodrie contract until the end of the 2016/2017 season.
The 23-year-old had a year remaining on his previous terms.
Dons manager Derek McInnes told the club website: "It shows real intent from Ryan to play his part in a successful Aberdeen team.
"It also demonstrates the club can hold on to its good players as well and hopefully Ryan can continue to impress in an Aberdeen shirt next season."
Jack, who made his Dons debut in 2010, has featured in 42 matches this campaign, scoring three goals.
