The SPFL response to Rangers giving ST their seats for free:

So the SPFL last season allowed Hibs to do this but once they get a team who are likely to have 45,000 fans in the stadium for potentially three games want to do it they claim its against the rules and they will prosecute the club!! Whether its right or wrong, the precendent has been clearly set and any civil court will see that!! Of course the SPFL seem to want to act as their own judge and jury on most things anyway.
This is a gesture that should be offered by all clubs across the UK, well done to Hibs for doing it last season and well done to Rangers and Motherwell for wanting to repeat that.
