Mr. Mullins bags the 1st and the 4th.
Nicky Henderson takes the 2nd for the locals followed by Lucinda Russell taking the 3rd north of the border. Jeremy Scott put the locals in front but Joseph Patrick O'Brien levelled it up. Rebecca Curtis from Welsh Wales took the final race of day 1.
Ireland 3 : 4 The Field
Wednesday

Dan Skelton put the locals 2 up with the first race, but Mr. Mullins levelled it with the next two winners and Gavin Cromwell and Barry Connell, Cian Collins, and who else but Mr. Mullins kept the Irish run going.
On the day - Ireland 6 : 1 The Field
Running total - Ireland 9 : 5 The Field
Thursday

Henry de Bromhead carried on where his compatriots left off in the 1st race of the day. Paul Nicholls finally struck back for the locals quickly followed by another win for Nicky Henderson. You can't keep a good man down as Mr. Mullins won the 4th and Henry de Bromhead took the big race of the day. Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero did take the 6th race to score
for the locals but Paul Nolan kept the Guiness flowing in the final race of the day.
On the day - Ireland 4 : 3 The Field
Running total - Ireland 13 : 8 The Field
Friday
Gold Cup Day

Mr. Mullins takes the first 4 and might be looking for a clean sweep. Only to be foiled in the big one by Gavin Cromwell. T.S. Curling (Ireland again)won the next and going into the last race looking for an Emerald Isle clean sweep, it was won by Gordon Elliott to get that clean sweep.
On the day - Ireland 7 : 0 The Field
Running total - Ireland 20 : 8 The Field
So, after all that faff, there's only one race winner difference, but it means jjamez gets the point.
