Plymouth Argyle have signed goalkeeper Daniel Grimshaw from Blackpool for an undisclosed fee.
Grimshaw, 26, began his career at boyhood club Manchester City but left for the Seasiders in the summer of 2021 on a free transfer.
Having signed his deal at Home Park after the midday deadline, Grimshaw will not be available for Argyle's trip to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
"It has taken slightly longer than we would have liked, but we were always insistent that we wanted to bring in the right goalkeeper", head coach Wayne Rooney told the Argyle club website., external
Grimshaw played both of Blackpool's league fixtures so far this season and will wear the number 31 shirt at Argyle.
