Burnley have signed striker Andreas Hountondji from French side Caen on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old Benin international joins the Clarets having scored 16 goals in all competitions for Rodez during a loan spell with the Ligue 2 side last term.
Hountondji has won six caps for Benin and has also previously had loan spells with Quevilly-Rouen and Orleans during the 2022-23 season.
"I chose to come here because of the big interest shown from the club," he said.
"It's a club that gives opportunities to young players, so this is one of the big reasons I chose to be here, and I love English football.
"I have spoken with the boss [Scott Parker] and it was quite a good discussion. We spoke about values, principles, and the way we play, it was perfect for me."
Hountondji joins Brazilian left-back Lucas Pires and Dutch full-back Shurandy Sambo in signing with the Clarets for next season while Johann Berg Gudmundsson also re-signed on a one-year deal having initially been released at the end of last season.
