Wrexham midfielder Tom O'Connor has signed a new three-year deal with the League One club.
The 25-year-old has been part of Wrexham's back-to-back promotions, having made 80 appearances in total since joining from Burton Albion in January 2022.
O'Connor, who played in 32 League Two games last season, only had one year left on his previous contract.
“I’m delighted, it’s been a great two and a half years and I’m really looking forward to seeing where this journey will go," said O'Connor.
“Everyone knows the pull of Wrexham and there’s a real feel-good factor after back-to-back promotions.
“A lot of people would jump at the chance of playing for Wrexham, so I am delighted to sign my new contract.”
O'Connor is among the Wrexham players who already have experience playing in League One, having competed at the same level previously for Gillingham and Burton.
"He’s been excellent since he joined the club, and we are looking forward to working with him again for the seasons ahead," said manager Phil Parkinson.
O'Connor joins Max Cleworth, George Evans, Aaron James, Steven Fletcher, Mark Howard and Harry Dean is signing new contracts with the club.
Wrexham have also brought back goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo on a permanent deal, as well as signing Leicester City defender Lewis Brunt and Charlton Athletic captain George Dobson.
