Such a short sighted and for me misguided decision!! Some clubs need to really look hard at the unrealistic expectations they have on their managers!! This season was somewhat easily predicted at the top, the three teams that came down were all somewhat established PL teams and were each a buit of a surprise relegation in the first place. As has played out, 3 of the top 6 places were almost guaranteed to be them, so what did the Hull owner expect his manager to achieve in the first place? He would have been better building for next season when the three coming down are far more likely not to dominate the Championship as we saw this season.
