Shrewsbury forward Max Mata has joined Irish Premier League side Sligo Rovers on loan until the end of the season.
The move is a return to Sligo for the 23-year-old, having played for the Connacht club from February 2022 until he joined Shrewsbury in the summer.
The New Zealand international has made 26 appearances for Shrewsbury but has only scored once in League One, against Port Vale in November.
Shrewsbury are four points above the drop zone and host Wigan on Saturday.
