Port Vale have sealed loan deals for Nottingham Forest winger Alex Mighten and Barnsley defender Kacper Lopata, both until the end of the season.
Lopata was signed after Rhys Williams was forced to return to parent club Liverpool, following the emergence of an unspecified underlying injury.
Williams, 22, who only signed on 16 January, departs without having made a single appearance for Vale.
Vale sit 20th in League One, three points above the relegation zone.
