Swindon Town have signed defenders Pharrell Johnson from Nottingham Forest and Conor McCarthy from Barnsley.
Johnson, 19, whose contract at the Premier League side ran out this summer, has agreed a permanent move having failed to make a first-team appearance for Forest.
He did feature in two EFL Trophy matches earlier this season at Carlisle United and Accrington.
Swindon have not disclosed if they paid a fee or the length of Johnson's deal.
McCarthy joins on loan until the end of the season from League One side the Tykes.
The 25-year-old joined Barnsley in the summer of 2022 from St Mirren and has played 14 games, although has not featured in the league this campaign.
