Who’s Available?

After taking a knock to his ankle in the defeat to Watford, Liam Millar is expected to be ready and available for this fixture.

Emil Riis, who has been sidelined since the opening weekend of 2023, is not likely to feature before the end of the year, with the New Year now the target for the striker.

Ryan Lowe confirmed 23 outfield players were due to train on Thursday morning so there is plenty of competition for places.

Opposition Focus

Swansea City sit 18th in the Championship ahead of the weekend’s round of fixtures and they’re still without a permanent boss at the helm, since the departure of Michael Duff earlier this month.

Alan Sheehan, who was assistant to Duff, has been in interim charge ever since, tasting victory in his first match against Rotherham United, before a draw at Stoke City and defeat to Middlesbrough.

Swansea hasn’t been a particularly happy hunting ground for North End in years gone by, having only won there once since 1961.

Match Officials

Referee: Robert Madley
Assistant Referees: Craig Taylor and Blake Antrobus
Fourth Official: John Busby

Robert Madley will referee his second PNE match of the season on Friday, with his first incidentally coming against Swansea City’s rivals Cardiff City in November.

Madley has shown 67 yellow cards and four reds – including his dismissal of Robbie Brady – in 13 matches so far this season.

Apparently Lowe's interview when he has a pop at the fans who gave him grief has gone down like a lead balloon with the folks who have splashed out hard earned money to watch some of the tripe we have played over the recent weeks(aka supporters)
His period in charge is now time limited another hapless display on Friday will surely bring him his exit.
Cannot slag the support will end only one way.
There will be a match blog on Saturday depending on what time I get back from the Principality
Have you heard about the news on Mizar 5
People got to shout to stay alive
