You don't import 17,000 fighting age men with absolutely no documentation, then let them run free in the nation and not have any recorded information about their whereabouts.
Of course the news is massively downplaying it
It's a hostile takeover and the country is being taken for mugs, all of Europe are.
It's a lot more than 17,000 unaccounted for too. Their figures are always bullshit.
Just by itself an army of 17k would be devastating against an unarmed populous.
