In my opinion it's not so much a case of Murdoch and his press having got everything they want. They can never get enough. Even they realise when the Tories are so toxic they become unelectable and then jump ship to get more of what they want. That said, the Aussie voters handed their Conservatives their arses in their collective hands at their last election. Doubt we'll get this lot down to low double figures of seats though when there are numpties out there that would still have Johnson back tomorrow.
