Harrogate Town have signed left-back Matty Foulds from Bradford City for an undisclosed fee as well as Crewe Alexandra's Rod McDonald.
Foulds, 25, spent the latter half of the 2022-23 season on loan at Harrogate and joins on a two-year deal.
Meanwhile, McDonald, 31, also links up with Harrogate on a two-year deal after making 36 appearances for Crewe.
"Speaking to the gaffer I quickly realised that his aspirations are very similar to what I want," Foulds said.
"I came in for the second half of last season and absolutely loved it so it was a no-brainer for me to come here."
McDonald had been offered a new deal by the Alex but opted to make the move to Harrogate.
Assistant boss Paul Thirlwell added: "Rod is very dominant, very aggressive and he can play as well, so he's a player we feel will fit in really well to the squad."
