Had my phone for several years and lately the battery has been playing up. Now I really like this phone, probably the best one I've owned and decided to see if I could get a replacement battery and the answer was yes, I found a replacement battery online for just £12 which is a bargain but the bad news is the company which sells the battery is in the EU and the shipping cost was in the region of £30. Now thats £42 and that is roughly half the price of a brand new phone. So going to stick with it as long as I can and then buy a new phone.
When I've bought things online via Amazon in the past, I've noticed a lot of products come from European companies and countries. If shipping costs more than an actual product then people won't pay the price. I read somewhere car parts are another thing which could be hit due to shipping costs especially as Britain's a big consumers of European car manufacturing.
