Someone brought up the topic of attempted suicide - not me, incidentally.

People who attempt suicide are for the most part sufferers of mental illness.

Then, it became apparent that there were some misconceptions about how people with mental illnesses can think straight or not, whether they should feel remorseful, etc.

Nothing wrong with this conversation.
