Apart from it being a dead cat, who the feck is seriously gong to reintroduce imperial measures if we actually want to export anything anywhere (apart from the closed door that is the USA)? All the moulds, dies, drawings and kit required to make the archaic packaging in any quantity were pretty much scrapped years ago. Places like The Black Country or Ironbridge Museums could probably knock out a couple of dozen a week at a push. Think they might want a bit more than a few old pennies per dozen though.
Also bear in mind, none of these "laws" were imposed on us. We voted for them through our MEP's and then passed them through parliament pretty much on the nod. Why, because we'd told our MEP's we agreed with them. If we didn't like them, we could have voted against them at the time and they would have been stopped, rewritten until we did or totally scrapped by the EU.
Now if we could only recall which Party was in charge (of partying mostly) for most of the time when we were doing all this???
