Truss and Sunak pushing each other further and further to the right whilst promising the unattainable seems to be the order of the day, all to please the gammonistas in southern england....a miniscule amount of voters.... While the country burns.
Its totally sickening.
Sunak's recent comment re "Holding the devolved governments to account, particularly Scotland, subjecting them to an annual parliamentary committee scrutiny" is just downright impudence reeking of a misguided 'overlord' regard of a Brit govt that he won't be in charge of anyway. Lets reverse this half-baked idea and apply the same scrutiny retrospectively on the Brit govt (there would be utter outrage in England!!) who, by their own gross fiscal failures (and other massive indiscretions) should be subjected to their own independent investigations, never mind involvement of any devolved govts that they are clearly attempting to denigrate and render the administrations incompetent, possibly even conspiring to shut them down and with absolute power applied - that's what the extreme right of this shitheid political party would like to do; thankfully many other straight-thinking Tories realising that would be political suicide with destabilising repercussions happening in the likes of Scotland. And they have been previously preaching re equal partners and a Union of equality - total bullshit, the same as their "levelling up" slogan that has been exposed as bogus and proportionately misrepresented in many parts of the country.
