Nation League 2022
#6
Well we are 3 of games in to the Nations League and it's not looking great for most of the Home Nations teams

I'll kick off with England as that's my team
Hungary 1-0 England
Germany 1-1 England
England 0-0 Italy

On the face of it draws against Germany and Italy don't look bad results unfortunately though they were bad performances especially in light of losing to Hungary in the first game. One goal from the penalty spot to show for it( I missed it to get a head start at the Underground back to Munich) and very little else to show.
Currently sitting bottom of the group with Hungary to play tomorrow night which will go a long way to deciding if England survive the group or face relegation

Wales, World cup play offs and Nations League Fixtures to play in this set of fixtures with mixed results although they won the important one (Well done Wales)
Poland 2 v 1 Wales
Wales 1 v 0 Ukraine (WCQ)
Wales 1 v 2 Netherlands
Wales 1 v 1 Belgium

Like England, Wales are currently bottom of Group A4 and struggling although it's been fine margins
They were winning in Poland
They equalised against the Dutch in injury time only to concede pretty much straight away
But they did gain a very good point against Belgium.
Next up a trip the Netherlands

Down into Group B now and Scotland.
Scotland 1 v 3 Ukraine (WCQ)
Scotland 2 v 0 Armenia
Rep of Ire 3 v 0 Scotland

Scotland bounced back from losing out to Ukraine in World Cup qualifying with a win in their opening NL game and despite losing 3-0 to Ireland it is still all to play for in Group B1. A victory tomorrow in Armenia would give Scotland a boost ahead of 2 vital fixtures against Ukraine in September which is likely to see who tops the group

Last but not least Northern Ireland in Group C2
Northern Ireland 0 v 1 Greece
Cyprus 0 v 0 Northern Ireland
Kosovo 3 v 2 Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland 2 v 2 Cyprus

Without a doubt this has been a disastrous International break for Northern Ireland which sees them bottom of the group despite playing the weakest team twice and failing to beat them(Cyprus) The fans want the manager gone and it's unlikely to get any better with games against Kosovo and Greece to come.

Sorry it's not more detailed, I've only seen the England games and a couple of NI games so can't comment much than this
