he had a **** shocking first season in the championship followed by an injury which kept him out most of his last season followed by 2 good games then yet another injury and yet more barn doors he couldnt hit
he wasnt all that and will only be remembered for the pub league thing

we do need some pace i admit but he couldnt hit a **** barn door !! check your stats on goals to misses ratio
Just checked my stats - Antonio - second most assists in SBC in 12/13, most assists combined in SBC for seasons 12/13 & 13/14 & most assists combined in SBC for seasons 12/13, 13/14 & 14/15 to date.
The reason for our improvement this season is down to Westwood. Take him out of the current team & we would be bottom four now. Add Antonio to our current team & we would be top four.

Look at charlton at home last season, he was shit and was dragged off 2mins before ht but this wasn't a one off, he was like that all the time and most were fed up of sg (and dave kones before) persisting with him.
Antonio might have scored some goals but s lot of our defending is done in numbers and he is terrible at tracking back and helping (especially when he lost the ball). We might have won the odd game more but I think a lot of our draws this season would have been lost had we had Antonio standing on half way doing sod all.
And how sod we know there is no sell on clause?
That's meant to say do not sod. Fecking mobile shite site
There were two reasons why SG & Antonio fell out. Both were related to SG making Antonio play when he wasn't fit. In particular the home matches against Blackpool & Charlton. After the Blackpool match (he was brought on as a late substitute), he couldn't play for another month and he had spent 24 hours throwing up before the Charlton match so wasn't fit to play.
It is not just Antonio's goals & assists that we miss but his pace forces the opposition to defend deeper, which means that we create more chances and get far more shots in from good positions.
This season we have scored 20 goals from 26 matches. Last season, we had 33 goals after 26 matches (over 60% more). The season before we also had 33 goals after 26 matches. The reason for the big drop is down to losing Antonio.
Also, it is a myth that Antonio doesn't chase back based upon the Charlton match when he was ill. In fact, he covered more miles per match than any other Wednesday player in each of the last two seasons. Last season he also had the third highest tackles per match for Wednesday, higher than Loovens, Reda, Palmer & Buxton.
We know there is no sell on clause because it was reported at the time of the sale.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
