A typical summers day the first half played in a deluge, the second in warm sunshine, this was a fairly competitive game were the home side showed a distinct improvement compared to Tuesday game against a side from higher up the Pyramid.
City's side had some experienced players including a plethora from the family known as Trialist. Wyre started the better and had chances to take the lead, but it was the visitors who struck first following the loss of a home centre back due to injury, took about 30 seconds after the replacement came on for City to be in front.
Wyre's number 7 might have seen red for a couple of flayling elbows and there were several meaty tackles, couldn't actually get over City's away kit a lurid Orange.
Second half City 2 up almost immediately, home side replied with a nicely worked goal good movement centre field ball crossed in from the left City defender scoress own goal.
For a couple of minutes Wyre were back in it before Kilfin scord from close range, from then on in substitutions interupted the flow of the game.
Wyre's keeper who to be said didn't have the best of games on Tuesday performed better although made a horlicks for the fourth. Two late goals gave the scoreline a slightly misleading read.
