Most people in the indy movement want a national debate on the most common issues that unionists try to pulverise Scots with. They know there is a contrary argument that covers the economy, currency, border issues etc etc etc - it is not one-sided!! May I also add there are lotsa conversations covering these issue in Yes Hubs all over Scotland. This pandemic and relative lockdown measures have obviously hindered the Scotindy campaign but these online events are happening. A good example is the Hopin event this month - an open debate, prob the biggest one, that covers the controversial Growth Commission report and titled Moving Beyond the Growth Commission. Note entry is free for low-waged or unwaged folk. It takes place on 25 February from 3.00pm to 7.00pm and is repeated on 27 February from 1.00pm to 5.00pm. Various guest speakers like Tim Rideout will be present. Note there are five sessions covering lotsa issues like the Scottish economy, currency and monetary framework etc, the kinda stuff that anyone who is interested in Scotindy should be debating and picking up useful info re their main concerns for the future. There will be more future events like this kinda stuff - very useful and informative.
