Ditto from Nicola Sturgeon as well following his official resignation. I've lost count of the number of Scot Labour and Scot Con leaders who have not "lasted the course" with Sturgeon - another one oot the door with a whimper!

Labour is a busted flush up here, and that had very little to do with Richard Leonard. Away from independence I always felt Leonard acted with good intentions and decency. Not so sure we will be saying that about his replacement.

And he'd finally got them ahead of the tories in the polls
