I hadn't realised until a week or so ago that the English fishing quota is almost half owned by EU businesses. Unlike Scotland, where the vast majority of the quota is Scottish owned. Surely Boris can't expect the EU owners to allow the UK to exclude them from catching their legally agreed percentage of "British fish".

Yup, they sold the quotas off in the 80s.
Thing is It wont be the lawyers we will need to worry about, it will be the EU fisherman starting to blockade ports. You watch the outrage when Harold Gammon is seriously inconvenienced on his way to his French holiday home.
The UK is no longer a serious country, epitomised by Boris cutting about Europes capitals for negotiations looking like he has spent the night in a skip.....in someone else's suit.
