Just to put things about our club into perspective :-
Presto Foodmarkets was a chain of supermarkets and convenience stores in Great Britain, which first appeared in the early 1960s. While the fate of most of the chain's stores was conversion to Safeway, the final stores still trading as Presto were either closed or sold in 1998.
Joke club
I thought our Presto was a tool company ? Anyway agree with the sentiment since they probably went bankrupt and the Chinese bought the dies in a creditor fire sale
Bert McGee, Wednesday's chairman, was also the MD of Presto Tools, that's where the name on the West Stand roof comes from. They are still active and doing quite well and after a few takeovers are now back to being an independent company.
That makes it worse then Charlie we've been advertising a tool company that the majority of people outside of Sheffield think is a defunct supermarket for a quarter of a century for free Only in WednesdayWorld
