Kashoggi already forgotten - what a moral dilemma!!?
#3
Now 20 Saudis will be put on trial in a Turkish law court in absentia - not great but all one can say is "about time too" as it has taken long enough to action some form of justice on behalf of a Saudi/US citizen (and his family) who was brutalised on Turkish soil and, so far, nothing done about it esp when the Turkish authorities have so much evidence against the perpetrators who did this with impunity. Sadly I suspect there is a political aspect to this action rather than applying true justice. Lastly, I must mention the fact that the Trump administration have formally blocked any CIA contribution to this affair where they initially "fingered" the Saudi Crown Prince right after Kashoggi's murder and it is reckoned the CIA has the evidence to corroborate Bin Salman's indictment but Trump blocking access to that evidence - disgraceful and clearly full of the usual self-interest!!
