No better here SS as you should know from experience. The lack of a nationalized health system makes emergency preparedness for something like this a complete shambles since under private systems the stocks of protective items are just in time because that’s cost effective. My youngest who is just finishing her residency (junior doctor) stint is really concerned.

2 weeks ago it was a Democratic hoax and now our Tangerine in charge is saying ‘we’ve never known anything this bad and who could have expected it cause he’s even more worried about his re-election chances and his tanking market. I find it amusing that every time he does a public address it usually goes down more. I’m ok but the hourly hospitality workers who live paycheck to paycheck and through tips are going to be completely screwed based on the likely time it’s going to get all this under control.
