In Europe? I think there are people in England and Britain who want a federal Europe but they are a minority. I don't want federalism in Britain or Europe. I think federalism is dangerous as it can lead to dictatorships.
Scotland could be independent and have the status of crown dependency like the Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey etc. Look at the Isle of Man they are self-governing and look after their own affairs without being part of the UK or the EU and if they can do it with a population of about 83,000 and a GDP of £7.4 billion then Scotland could do it. Guernsey have a population of 63,000 and they aren't members of the EU but they do have a special relationship with the EU for trade.
