It continues to look like absolutely nothing is happening regarding the Brexit conundrum and that the opponents of No Deal are being pulled hither and thither over what to do next. Their main plan would seem to be to force Boris into writing a letter to the EU requesting a further extension to Article 50. Now that's all very well, but the EU are under no obligation to grant an extension and, theoretically at least, could refuse it. That could lead to a No Deal Brexit, the very thing the Remainers claim to be desperate to avoid.
Also remember that Donald Tusk, not my favourite person but he apparently doesn't think much of me, warned the UK not to waste the time the EU granted us the last time. It's patently obvious that we have been wasting the time, as we're no further forward than we were at the end of March.
I despair of all politicians, both Brexiteers and Remainers - the Brexiteers for not taking charge of the negotiations in a positive manner right from the very start and the Remainers who are desperate to thwart the "will of the people" both in the Referendum and at the 2017 General Election where the vast majority of them were elected on the platform of delivering Brexit.
