Pure conjecture this Government looking for loopholes in Benn’s Bill they won’t find any unless they have planted in there. By mistake due to the absence of tellers on Thursday the Kinnock Amendment was added to the Bill, shortly afterward the Filibuster in the Lords stopped and the Bill was rushed through the Lords with little scrutiny.
The vast majority of opinion think this will not make a difference apart from one or two which think it will cause a significant impingement.
The Amendment incorporates May’s 575 page Withdrawal Agreement.
According to a lord Callahan, the Amendment was confusingly worded contrary to the aims of the Bill and legally inoperable.
As I said all conjecture as is this opposition won’t call a Vote of Confidence nothing to stop Boris though.
Possibly called this week 14 days to find alternative however can’t be formed as Parliament is poroged therefore General Election 15/10/19
