Why not integration with all areas of the general public anyway Saint Charles Owl???????????????? Surely that is what true government practise should be about - pragmatic and progressive!!! Why on earth should it not be exactly as described in a proper, pluralist society??????

Politicians visits to different parts of the country are always as you say stage managed, they are about sound bites or news clips or a photo opportunity, whether it be to promote a policy or to gain votes. They are virtually never about meeting the general public, and this is the case for all parties and virtually all Western democracies!!
