I'd love to see how that buffoon can come up with a system that a) enables people and goods to move freely across the Irish border, whilst "taking back control" of the rest of our borders, and b) a system that works in a situation where a house can be on one side of the border, but the garden or driveway can be on the other, or indeed one where the house or business itself straddles the border, and one where the eastbound or northbound side of the road is in the UK, but the westbound or southbound side of the road is in the Republic.

Love how the media is making it sound like some kind of victory, merkel has just told the idiot something that's always been available just that this time he's actually,finally admitted its down to the UK to find a solution.
