You have to also realise that this is only one element of a multi-faceted "loss maker"! The social consequences are massive but generally unmentioned!! What is the overall financial "hit" to the UK as a consequence of a "split vote" in 2016 that flung the whole Brexit idea into our laps as a realistic option!!! It has been a f###### disaster and that "hit" must be millions n millions of quid if not well over a trillion!! Was it all worth it????
