Give us a Break!

Thanks for an interesting topic to discuss.

The ideas of peace, friendship and understanding among the people proclaimed by Coubertin are of paramount importance to all mankind.

Pierre de Coubertin wrote that the main goal of Olympics is to draw the attention of public opinion, people and governments to the need to create all opportunities for the involvement of as many people as possible in sport. Is that really the case now, that's the question? He believed that tension and hostility between the nations could be minimized by the friendly atmosphere in sport. I believe the world of egames or Igaming presented on popular sites (such as https://www.esportsportal.com/category/news/ and https://casino-now.co.uk/casino-games/ ) also pursue the goal of uniting people, giving them equal opportunities regardless of their location and other personal factors.

Unfortunately, the Olympic games nowadays are often used not so for the sake of the ideals of peace and mutual understanding, but to satisfy national claims, personal ambitions and commercial interests.
