Their negotiations have been conducted in a shambolic, amateurish fashion but the basic fact still holds good.
Also the legal default position is that the UK will leave the EU on 29 March, with or without a deal. No amount of parliamentary debate will alter that until appropriate legislation is passed.
Finally Mrs May has always rightly said that currently the only way to ensure that No Deal is off the table is to vote for her Deal (whatever the latest version is). I don't like her Deal one little bit but she is right in that respect.
The only thing I can say in my defence is "Don't shoot the messenger"!
May's deal is technically Remain.
It looks like she is letting the clock tick down so then Parliament will vote for her deal at the last minute instead of risking a No Deal.
Also no one has actually talked about it but if there is a hard border between Ireland and Northern Ireland it could become the new Calais because what would stop economic migrants travelling to Ireland and then getting into Northern Ireland or then travelling across to England.
As much as I dislike the EU, it's looking more and more unrealistic and not feasible that a member state can leave, I think at this rate the EU will collapse before we eventually Leave. I think Article 50 will be extended or even be revoked and another referendum will happen because Parliament won't vote for a No Deal, they can't agree on any deal including May's and the EU won't give or negotiate a new deal.
The Tories won't go for no deal because they will never be forgiven for trashing the economy and the Tories in future elections will spin it that this was Labour's fault etc etc. You then have the EU who are getting worried and people like Tusk, Barnier and Vehofstadt are getting annoyed and angry and very verbal that No Deal will happen and the likes of Germany, Italy, France etc will probably be putting pressure on them to stop a No Deal from happening.
