After all the votes tonight, we're not really any further forward. Yes, MPs have voted to avoid a No Deal, but we've always wanted to avoid a No Deal, so there's no progress there. The default position is still No Deal on 29 March, unless a Deal is agreed with the EU.
MPs have also voted to send Mrs May back to the table to re-negotiate a Deal that the EU say they won't re-negotiate. So, after 22 months of hard bargaining, we're now scrambling about, against the clock, to make some progress. Never trust politicians, especially those in a position of power.
