Bye bye industries reliant on just-in-time supply chains.
Hello M26 lorry park.
Hello shortages in food and medical supplies (and grayling in charge of keeping supply lines open)
Any companies reliant on just-in-time supply chains (which is a helluva lot of them) will be gone.
May has done a runner to Europe to kill more time before this "brexit in name only" deal gets put through the house - because the only other option would be economic meltdown.
And that's before you factor in the damage done to the nation already, and not just financially.
Tories eh ?
You've got that wrong Hibeejim21 because I sat and watched BBC Parliament this afternoon and David Liddington said that a no deal scenario is off the table as it's not in the best interest of the Government, the house or the electorate. He said it will either by May's deal, a new deal if she can get one (which I doubt it because the EU have said there won't be anymore negotiations) or no Brexit.
For another referendum or "People's vote" to happen then we would have to ask the EU to extend the timeline of Art 50 which could be put back to October 2019 and Parliament would have to vote through a bill on another referendum happening. If a 2nd referendum did happen you can't repeat the same question from 2016, it will have to be a different question most likely on the deal.
With 3 and a bit months to go, I can see no Brexit being a real possibility and that Art 50 will be revoked, the EU have said it will only take a phone call to revoke Art 50 and for Britain to remain in the EU on it's original terms. May is trying to run the clock down and at the eleventh hour it will be either her deal or remain in the EU and she'll tell the public that Brexit was not doable and therefore the country is remaining in the EU, then the Tories will get rid of her and put someone like Javid or Hammond in her place, then there'll be another snap election and another hung parliament with no real majority. A new Eurosceptic party will be born and the 17.4 million people will either flock to it or not vote ever again.
JK Rowling wants a 2nd EU referendum but she doesn't think Scotland should have another referendum on independence. The hypocrisy.
