Do any of you guys have any regrets leaving the uk? How the quality of life compare?

I have some minor regrets about leaving the UK, mainly not seeing family as often and certainly for the first few years here having almost no way to follow Wednesday's games, but technology has made both of those thing easier since I left 17 years ago.
I really don't miss living in Sheffield or the UK, our quality of life here is so much better in my experience. I earn more than I would in the UK and there are so many more opportunities here not just with regards to your career but also with your leisure time. I have traveled across the states a lot since moving here, most of it on business but also some epic holidays as well, and there are still a number of things on my bucket list that I haven't yet done!! As it stands today there is no chance of me moving back to the UK!!
