I thought Kavanaugh was evasive when he sat before the Senate committee and he also came out with some partisan comments - proved to be definitely unsuitable as a SC judge and should not be anywhere near this position.

Completely agree!! While I get why he would want to defend himself with vigour and conviction, the rant about the "left" where he mentions the Democrats, the Clintons, etc etc should in itself remove him from consideration!! SC judges are there to protect and somewhat interpret the constitution, they are supposed to be measured and unbiased in their opinions and votes and he showed the complete opposite of that when he spoke!!

Problem is, Trump, the Republicans (or most of them at least) and their supporters, loved it!! They thought he was great, passionate and strong!!! Those 2 or 3 Republicans who are wavering over whether to vote yes or no will vote yes in my opinion, I have yet to come across a Republican who is not excited about the possibility of swaying the SC massively to the right, something it hasn't been for a few decades and I cannot see any of them not wanting to take that opportunity!! It really is a bunch of old white men forcing their out of date principals down everyone else's throats!!!
